Harrison Oakley has the talent and the technical precision, but his music is missing its soul. When Cyd, Ryatt, and Manny crash his Halifax garage audition, they bring the exact brand of loud, arrogant chaos he was trying to avoid.

 

Cyd Kyrie, a badass keyboardist with a strict "no bandmates" rule, has no interest in Harrison’s rigid perfectionism. But as the band, Doxy Blonde, begins a gritty tour through Halifax’s dive bars and basement venues, the friction between Harrison and the trio starts to create a dangerous heat.

 

Between cramped vans, cheap motels, and high-tension rehearsals, the lines between musical chemistry and physical desire blur. As the rhythm section builds a bridge with their own secret pact, the band must decide if they can survive a major label’s attempt to tear them apart or if their messy, poly-fluid connection is the only thing keeping them from the silence of a real job.
